Snow!

So, my art is on hold... Because I've got nothing. Seriously, nothing. All my work is going to school and that's the way it goes from now until my bum gets into college. I won't know for a while, because almost all my colleges come with auditions because of that entire acting thing.

But, besides that, it's going to snow! The weather people say 10 to 14 inches. That makes me excited. I mean really excited. I'm one of those people who, no matter how old they get, still loves makeing snow forts, sledding, and snowball fights. There's also snow hockey and snow baseball at my house, which is a lot of fun if you've never tried it.

As for conventions, I'm sowing my cosplays and hopfully getting my butt to Anime Boston. But no promises. I haven't been to convention in a year and my plans tend to go up in smoke. If I don't get to AB, I should have my lisence by ConnectiCon and should be able to go there. Hopefully I'll get at least one in before I head off to college.

Until next time...peace, love, and SNOW!!!

So, I posted a new monologue. It has a mature protection thing on it because it's about depression and cutting, that's really all. I wrote it last year. There's more information in the author's comments. I also posted a poem a few months ago, so go check that one out. I'm not too sure about pictures. I think I might have some good ones. I won't know fore sure until I get them up on the computer.

That's all for now in terms of art.

Peace, love, and happy thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

November

I don't have any decent pictures of my costume from Halloween...maybe I should have asked someone who knows how to take a picture rather than my mother who initially held the camera up side down. So, that really sucks. Hopefully, my cosplays will pull together and I'll get some good photos up. For now, it's random poetry from creative writing class and my general pissed-off-at-the-world-ness.

I've been a bit busy. I'm trying to get all my college applications in on time along with getting good college recomendations. I'm also trying to find a good weekends only job...I know, it's super-part time, but it's all that I can handle with ECA and regular school. There's no way I would be able to get home at 5pm, do homework, and have enough time to go do a decent shift. I'm hoping I'll be able to get something this summer. I'm also trying to get good enough at driving to obtain my lisence. Hopefully, I'll be ready in January or February because I want to get this state mandated bullshit over with as soon as possible. I also happen to have a beautiful, light tan, '94 Toyota that will be officially "mine" when I get said lisence.

Things are okay for now. Hopefully, I'll be able to get rid of some annoying things...but, besides that, I'm currently enjoying the flow of life.

update...ish.

I couldn't find any post worthy pictures from my Virgina vacation and I haven't taken any photos recently. I'll probably take a picture of the super cool tile I made in ceramics class and the vase I'm currently making. We're supposed to be doing coil pots...and mine is kind of more like a vase because I smoothed the outside...and I'm also trying to make it a small scale replica of the vase that Haruhi breaks in Ouran High School Host Club. I have detailed pictures, so I'm going to try and use my carving skills to an advantage and get some extra points on this project. Pretty complicated for a person in a Ceramics one class. Then again, I've already taken ceramics classes before. I just don't remember how to use the wheel all that well.

Also, Halloween is comming up. I'm going to be a Pin-Up girl. Pictures will definately be up of that. Speaking of costumes; I'm trying to use Halloween sales to get my Shizuka, Axel, and Mori wigs. If I have wigs, at least I can do street clothing...except for Shizuka. I've given up on my sowing machine because it costs too much to fix it and will be hand sowing all my cosplays from now on. I'll probably start by fixing my Mori jacket because my sowing machine messed it up. Then, I'll get the fabric for Shizuka and start on that. I'm not going to try to make an Organization cloak for Axel, though. i'll be saving up money to buy that. I'm hoping to go to a few small conventions and do some public cosplaying in the coming months. I feel so disconnected to cosplay. I haven't been to a convention in an entire year! I really need to get out there.

So, that's what's going on right now...until next time...whenever that is.

This Year is Different

The title almost says everything I want to say right now. I already like all of my normal school professors and I got in to the traveling improvasation troupe at ECA. This year hasn't really even started, and I'm already happy. I can't help but be happy. I have teachers that are pretty relaxed and I got in to the class I wanted to at ECA. I feel so lucky and I'm so thankful for the good start that I've been given.

Art to come soon, I promise. I'm taking a ceramics class and I'll be putting up some cool photos of my vacation to Virginia.
